Welcome to the Wiltshire Barn Project home page.
The Project is a social enterprise charity for Veterans of all three Services. It uses the therapeutic qualities of craft bookbinding to assist casualty rehabilitation and to develop employment opportunities. The Project is a registered charity and is based in the Daffodil Barn, Woodborough, near Pewsey, Wiltshire.

The Wiltshire Barn Project is run as a social enterprise scheme for Wounded, Injured and Sick (WIS) Veterans. It is based in a delightful thatched barn just outside Pewsey, Wiltshire, in an attractive rural setting, and shares the Barn with a very active bookbinding workshop run by a well-established London craft bookbinding firm (Shepherds Ltd). The Project is sponsored by the Stationers Foundation, a trust managed by the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers.
The Project will offer City & Guilds instruction on Level 1 and Level 2 courses in craft bookbinding. Each stage will lead to an award, and successful completion of the two stages will lead to a nationally recognised certificate.
The social enterprise side of the charity manufactures luxury books and stationery items for retail. All manufacturing is conducted entirely by the Veterans and all profits from the sales go directly to the charity to sustain further training.
